Every fall, Literacy Ontario Central South gathers information from meetings, research, reports and surveys to help us develop Literacy Service Plan (LSP) reports. These reports guide the planning and decision-making of adult training programs in Haliburton, City of Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Northumberland and Hastings.
Four times a year we host LSP meetings in each county. These meetings bring adult training organizations together with community partners to discuss current programs and identify training needs and gaps in the community so we can work together to find solutions. The information gathered during these meetings is also critical for informing our LSP reports.
We thank our partners who attend our Literacy Service Plan meetings for their willingness to share their experiences, observations and insights.
