Apprenticeship Article

In the October 2023 edition of the Workforce Development Board (WDB) Community Connections newsletter, there was an article outlining the support our adult training programs offer to people working in the trades. The newsletter also profiled the support we offer employers who hire people in the trades. You can find the article in the October edition Vol. 66.

Each month the WDB releases their Community Connections newsletter. The newsletter includes current labour force survey results, the Eye on the Labour Market, LMI resources, information and tools, Job Demand and Job Search reports and articles of interest in Northumberland, Peterborough, City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton. For past copies of the newsletter, you can visit their Archives. To get your copy delivered each month, sign up here: Community Connections.

If you are thinking about entering the trades or if you are currently working in the trades, contact us for more information about the support we offer. If you are an employer hiring people to work in the trades, contact us for information about our programs and services, or visit the Apprenticeship page of our site.

We would like to thank the WDB for their ongoing support of our programs.
